In memory of the 100th anniversary of the Founding of the Republic of Türkiye, the 12th Turkish Herbology Congress was held in Şanlıurfa on 19-21 October 2023, under the leadership of the Turkish Herbology Association.
Şanlıurfa Governor Hasan ŞILDAK, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin BEYAZGÜL, Food and Control Deputy General Manager Assoc. Prof. Yunus BAYRAM, Harran University Faculty of Agriculture Dean Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali ÇULLU, TAGEM Plant Health Research Department Head Dr. Suat KAYMAK, GAP Agricultural Research Institute Director İbrahim Halil ÇETİNER and the President of Turkish Herbology Association, Prof. Dr. Doğan IŞIK, made the opening speeches.
İstem BUDAK, head of Herbology Department of our Institute, made an oral presentation titled "The Effects of Some Post-emergence Herbicides on Cumin in Plant Growth Chambers" in the congress where approximately 250 scientist attended.
