Upon the complaint of slug damage in greenhouse and open field vegetable areas in Karadeniz Ereğli district of Zonguldak province, on-site inspections were carried out by our Institute's cereal pest experts together with the technical staff of Zonguldak Provincial Directorate and Karadeniz Ereğli District Directorate and information was provided to the producers about the biology of the pest, its damage type and control. In addition, it was recommended to the producers that the control be carried out collectively.
