MINISTER YUMAKLI VISITED THE CENTRAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE FOR SOIL, FERTILIZER, AND WATER RESOURCES

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim YUMAKLI, visited the Central Research Institute for Soil, Fertilizer, and Water Resources, where he reviewed the scientific studies conducted within the institute.

During the visit, Minister YUMAKLI received a briefing from Institute Director Mahmut Sami ÇİFTCİ and evaluated projects related to soil fertility, fertilizers and microbial fertilizers, water management, sustainable agricultural practices, and climate change adaptation.

Touring the R&D laboratories, Minister YUMAKLI obtained detailed information on modern analytical techniques and innovative research. He also exchanged ideas with officials regarding the integration of new methods into field applications to enhance agricultural productivity and conserve natural resources.

In his statement, Minister YUMAKLI highlighted that the institute, established in 1954, has 71 years of experience and continues to conduct R&D activities based on current data and analyses.

Emphasizing that the institute conducts 200,000 analyses annually, he commended the specialists working to maintain soil fertility and maximize its benefits, wishing them success in their endeavors.
