​Irrigation, drinking and other potable water analyses are performed in the institute water analysis laboratory of the Institute. These analyses are color, turbidity, pH, conductivity, cations; sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium and anions; carbonate, bicarbonate, chloride, sulphate, boron, the class of irrigation water, the residue of sodium carbonate, hardness, organic matter, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, drying residue, fluoride etc.

Physical and chemical analyze values are compared with standard values and determined whether it is suitable for the desired purpose. ​
