Each year, December 5 is celebrated as "World Soil Day" in order to raise awareness of the importance of soil and food safety.The theme of 2019 for December 5, World Soil Day, which is a day of awareness raising conducted by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), has been designated as 'Stop Soil Erosion and Save Our Future'.
Former Deputy Director of the Institute Mr. Fikret EYÜBOĞLU was our guest and made a speech about the importance of the day. The event ended with the music performance of our staff.
