​“Innovative processing of manures and biowastes of Eco-friendly Fertilizers/Eco-Fertis”, financed by the European Union PRIMA Program and TÜBİTAK 1071 Program was launched in 2024. Turkey (UTAEM), France, Tunisia and Egypt are partners in the consortium established under the coordination of Algeria. Within the scope of the project consisting of eight work packages, UTAEM carries out activities under five work packages. In the first year of the project, survey studies were conducted with agricultural producers on fertilizer use in the Menemen Plain; interviews were held with sector stakeholders, and data was collected by discussing problems related to the current situation.
