Participants from various countries visited UTAEM (Applied Agriculture and Training Center) as part of an international training program aimed at promoting digitalization and remote sensing technologies in agriculture.
Organized by TÜBİTAK Space Technology Research Institute and sponsored by Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization, the "Crop Monitoring by Using Remote Sensing Techniques" program took place in Kuşadası from May 12-16. It focused on remote sensing, precision agriculture, AI-based data analysis, and sustainable agricultural management, with 16 experts from different countries.
During the UTEAM visit, participants observed data-driven agricultural practices, learned about local solutions, and exchanged ideas for regional expansion. This visit bridged theory with practice and reinforced international cooperation.
