One-day event was organized in UTAEM on September 14 of 2023 under the project titled "Development of Regenerative Agricultural Practices for Cotton Farming in Aegean Region" with the participation and collaboration of public bodies, private sector and Association of Ecological Agricultural Organization. Project stakeholders and 35 representatives from various companies operating in Italy, Denmark, Germany, France participated in the demonstration on-field.
Thanks to the project, two cotton varieties (Milet-84 and Bomba) are cultivated by means of zero-tillage method in the test-field of UTAEM. During the trial period, specific data such as greenhouse emissions, yield, cost and fibre quality are measured and observed.
