The program for combating drought was carried out at UTAEM for producers on March 31, 2021 with the cooperation of Menemen Municipality, the Directorate of International Agricultural Research and Training Center (UTAEM) and the Directorate of Aegean Agricultural Research Institute (ETAE). Within the scope of the program, the researchers of UTAEM and ETAE provided theoretical and practical information about sunflower and sesame cultivation in arid conditions, planning of agricultural irrigation and effective use of water, soil, plant, water relations, pressurized irrigation systems and pressurized irrigation system management.
