"9th International Course on Integrated Pest Management Alternative Methods for Reduction of Pesticide Use" course was held in our center between 14 – 18 October 2019. 21 people from 9 different countries, Bosnia, India, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Macedonia, Rwanda, Serbia, Sudan and Tunisia participated in the training.

During the course, experts from Bornova Plant Protection Research Institute instructed lectures about integrated pest management and methods for reduction of pesticide use.

Within the scope of the training, technical visits were organized on 16 - 17 October 2019 to an orchard in Selçuk district and Bornova Plant Protection Research Institute, respectively. During the technical visits, experts showed examples of alternative practices, integrated pest control and shared their knowledge and experience about the pesticide techniques.
