4th International Course on Gene Bank Management and Biodiversity Conservation was held in our Center with 14 participants from Iran, Sudan, Malaysia, Algeria, Egypt and Pakistan between 02 nd -06 th May 2016.
During the course experts from Aegean Agricultural Research Institute, University of Aksaray and Aegean University instructed lectures about Plant Genetic Resources, Germplasm Collection and Identification, Conservation, Characterization, Evaluation and Utilization of Genetic Resources and Data Recording and Documentation of PGR Information.
Within the scope of course program, on 04.05.2016 participants visited Aegean Agricultural Research Institute. They had the chance to get detailed information by visiting National Gene Bank, Herbarium and Fungarium Laboratories. Also, on 05.05.2016 a trip was organized to Dilek Peninsula National Park in İzmir.
