As part of the "Improvement and Modernization of Irrigation Infrastructure at TAGEM Research Institutes" project, the installation of a smart drip irrigation system has been completed at the Köyceğiz Demonstration Station of UTAEM. The irrigation system, which previously used flood irrigation and covers approximately 140 hectares, almost entirely allocated for olive production, is now operational.
