Our institute, CIMMYT and ICARDA are conducting the project Adapting to Climate Change by Preserving the Diversity of Local Wheat Grown Today and Improving Food Safety by Improving Wheat Production. Within the scope of the local wheat project, field day was held in Kitreli village of Ciftlik district of Nigde.
Deputy Governor Cevat UYANIK, farm Governor Adnan DOĞAN, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Asim BAŞ, Omar HALISDEMIR University Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and technologies Dean Prof.Dr. Mehmet Emin Çalışkan, NGO representatives, provincial and District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry staff and farmers participated in Field day.
