​Prof. Dr. Kasım Yenigün, General Director of Combating Desertification and Erosion at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change; Selim Durmaz, Head of the Erosion Control Department; İlyas Boztaş, Head of the Survey and Project Department; Bekir Çelen, Isparta Provincial Director of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change; and a accompanying technical delegation conducted on-site inspections to assess the current condition of Lake Eğirdir.

As part of the inspection program, Eğirdir District Governor Ömer Çimşit, Eğirdir Mayor Mustafa Özer, and our Institute Director Dr. Oğuz Yaşar Uzunmehmetoğlu provided the delegation with a comprehensive briefing on the lake's current status, the environmental threats it faces, and the ongoing scientific studies.

The visit, which highlighted the importance of inter-institutional collaboration for the protection and sustainable management of Lake Eğirdir, concluded with the sharing of assessments and recommendations.​
