Jointly organized by Adana Biological Control Research Institute Directorate and Bornova Agricultural Control Research Institute, Beneficial Insect and Vicious Mediterranean Fruit Fly Release Program in Citrus Areas was held at our Institute.
The program was attended by Mersin Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan, Adana Deputy Abdullah Doğru, Director General of Agricultural Research and Policies (TAGEM) Dr. Metin Türker, Director General of Food and Control Dr. Ersin Dilber, Head of Horticulture Research Department of TAGEM Assoc. Prof. Dr. Davut Keleş, Head of Plant Health Research Department Dr. Suat Kaymak, representatives of Research Institutes, public institutions and organizations and representatives of non-governmental organizations.
After the protocol speeches, beneficial insects and vicious Mediterranean fruit flies were released in the citrus garden of our Institute.
