Training of
Trainers for Aquaculture Extension and Technique D-8 Member
Countries Program (ToTAD-8) was held in our institute between 19 and 24 October 2015. The
program was attended by Fernando Jongguran S. and Dr. Bur Bambang Priyo Utomo
from Indonesia and Daniel Odogbo from Nigeria. The presentations of the program,
which was coordinated by General Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture (DGFA), Turkey, was made
in the Beymelek Unit whereas practical courses were given in the hatcheries of
Beymelek and Kepez Units. The participants also found an opportunity to see fish farm
practices in Bodrum, Muğla.
