   Its homelnad is Turkey. It is included in the Mediterranean Mandate group, which is a lower branch of river buffaloes. The majority of Turkey's Black Sea has spread to all regions, including in the area.  In adult buffaloes, the hair cover is black or dark gray. Some buffaloes have 1 to 20 cm of white hair on the horn or forehead. They are resistant to many diseases, especially foot and mouth disease. It can digest low quality roughage with its rich rumen flora. It has a rich nutritional value milk composition compared to many cattle breeds. 

The lactation period milk yield is 2403 kg, the average milk fat is 7.66%. In good fattening conditions, 906 g daily live weight gain and 55% carcass yield can be obtained in male buffaloes.
