In the course of our work, the pollen mite (*Melittiphis alvearius*) was identified in our laboratory in 2015—a first for Turkey. Research is being conducted on the use of essential oils and oxalic acid against the *Varroa* parasite. Diagnostic services are available for American Foulbrood (*Paenibacillus larvae*) and European Foulbrood (*Melissococcus pluton*).
