The meeting was held as part of the project titled Contribution of Women's Cooperatives to Social Change: The Case of Ankara Province', which is supported by the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies (TAGEM) and carried out by the Department of Agricultural Economics at our institute.
Prof. Dr. Murat BOYACI from the Faculty of Agriculture at Ege University, Department of Agricultural Economics, moderated the meeting.
Representatives and subject matter experts from various institutions, including the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies, the General Directorate of Agricultural Reform, the Department of Training and Publication, the Ankara Provincial Coordination Office of the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK), the Ministry of Trade, Ege University, the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, and women's cooperatives operating in Ankara Province, attended the meeting.
Women's cooperatives contributed to the event's vibrancy by exhibiting local food products, dried goods, handicrafts, and jewellery at their stands in the foyer. These exhibitions provided an opportunity for the cooperatives to showcase their production capabilities and entrepreneurial potential to the participants.
