​Following the appointment of our Institute Director Dr. Rahmi Taşcı to his new position, congratulatory visits continue. In this context, Dr. Kenan Yalvaç—who worked as a researcher in the Wheat Breeding Unit of our Institute between 1988 and 2002; later served as Deputy Director General at the Directorate General for European Union and Foreign Relations of our Ministry and as Agricultural Counsellor to the Permanent Delegation to the European Union (Brussels, Belgium); and who currently serves as the Secretary General of the Turkish Seed Industry Association—together with Noyan Avgın, Head of the Crop Production Department at the General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises (TİGEM), met with our Institute Director Dr. Rahmi Taşcı and conveyed their wishes of success.
