​The Regional Group Meeting, opened with remarks by our Institute Director Dr. Rahmi Taşcı, was held online with the participation of nearly 200 representatives, including personnel from the provincial organization of our Ministry, agricultural consultants, and representatives of relevant institutions and organizations from 8 provinces within our area of responsibility, as well as research institutes located in Ankara affiliated with the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies.

During the meeting, which focused on plant and animal production topics, researchers from the Breeding and Genetics Department of our Institute delivered presentations titled “Key Considerations in Wheat and Barley Variety Selection for the Central Anatolia Region and Introduction of New Varieties Adapted to the Region."
