Our Institute Research Committee (IRC), which operates with the aim of ensuring coordination within the institute and evaluating all ongoing projects, held its first meeting of the year under the chairmanship of our Institute Director, Dr. Rahmi Taşcı.

Prior to the meeting of the Doctoral Thesis Proposal Steering Commission (DOKYÖN), to be convened under the auspices of the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies (TAGEM), the doctoral thesis proposals of Tuğçe Uslu, a researcher from the Department of Biodiversity and Genetic Resources, and Sefa Ayten, Head of the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Breeding Unit, were evaluated by the IRC.

The committee meeting concluded with the discussion of other projects for which revision proposals had been submitted.
