In the Rangelands and Forage Crops Department, sainfoin harvest was carried out within the scope of breeding studies. In our department, 3 alfalfa, 1 meadow burnet, 1 sainfoin, 1 broomgrass, 1 Indian pea, and 1 crested wheatgeass, in vetch breeding studies, 6 common vetch, 1 big vetch, 4 Hungarian vetch, 2 hairy vetch, 3 hairy fruit vetch, totaling 16 varieties, totaling 24 varieties have been registered. In addition, within the scope of breeding studies, registration applications have been made for two candidate varieties each in alfalfa and sainfoin and the process is ongoing.
