The “Partnership Identification and Strengthening Regional Workshop" organized by the Türkiye office of the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) headquartered in Mexico was held in Ankara on November 4-5th, 2024.
Our Deputy Director General Dr. Fatih Özdemir, Mexico Ankara Ambassador H.E Jose Luis Martinez Y HERNANDEZ, CIMMYT Türkiye Office, TAGEM Department Heads, Institute Directors, academicians, CIMMYT Türkiye representative Dr. Amer DABABAT, ICARDA Türkiye representative Dr. Mesut Keser, FAO representatives, CIMMYT employees, and private sector representatives attended the workshop.
The workshop was focused on fostering cooperation and tackled various topics and methods for establishing new collaborations between CIMMYT and Türkiye, as well as other regional countries. Additionally, it addressed ways to strengthen existing partnerships.
