Our institute continues to develop and register new varieties of medicinal and aromatic plants, as in many plant species. In this context, as a result of the Registration Committee meeting held on April 6, our medicinal sage (Salvia officinalis L.) variety, Beyhekim, is dedicated to the famous Turkish physician 'Beyhekim', who was the physician of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi; Our coriander (Coriandrum sativum) variety was registered with the names Sancar Bey, in honor of Nobel Prize winner Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar.
