Visit from CIMMYT Asia Regional Operations Department to Our Institute

As part of the CIMMYT Asia Regional Operations Department Meeting, organized by the CIMMYT Turkey office, a delegation of 45 people visited our Institute on June 3, 2025. During the visit, technical information was provided about the research conducted in the experimental fields at our Ikizce Practice and Research Farm. In the context of the IWWIP Turkey program, detailed discussions were held on plant health studies and observation plots related to the materials currently in circulation. Later, the delegation visited the elite barley seed production fields. Following the field tours, on-site presentations were given about the activities of the Plant-Based Foods Research Center and the Turkish Seed Gene Bank at our Institute’s Yenimahalle campus.
