Our institute continues to work with the aim of carefully carrying our country's genetic heritage seeds to the future. In this context, genetic resource material containing one set of trials developed within the scope of the International Winter Wheat Improvement Program (IWWIP); was delivered to the Turkish Seed Gene Bank operating within our Institute by Bahri Dağdaş International Agricultural Research Institute Director Dr. Fatih Özdemir, ICARDA Turkey Representative Dr. Mesut Keser and CIMMYT representative Beyhan Akın. In addition, future contributions to the preservation of the genetic resources in the IWWIP program in the Turkish Seed Gene Bank were also evaluated during the meeting.
