"Ayten Abla"  Developed by Our Institute returned with an award from 4th Plant Breeding Project Market (BIPP)

Plant Breeding Project Market (BİPP); The project aims to bring together all stakeholders in order to produce high value-added production for the agricultural sector, to submit joint project proposals to R & D support programs and to improve breeding activities. 4. Plant Breeding Project Market (BIPP) organized by Akdeniz University Technology Transfer Application and Research Center (Akdeniz TTO), Turkey Seed Growers Association (TÜRKTOB), Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) in 29 November 2019.

"Ayten Abla" The First Wheat varieties Developed by Doubled haploid Method in Turkey project with Dr. Cuma KARAOĞLU participated on behalf of our institute. Our project was awarded the 3rd prize at the end of the evaluation.

"Ayten Abla" took the first place with 495 kg / da yield in the experiments established under dry conditions during registration process and had 16.4% higher yield than standard varieties. Ayten Abla bread type wheat will make a great contribution to our country's economy.
