Within the scope of TAGEM R & D Support Program, the closing meeting of the project, which was carried out in cooperation with the Institute of Agricultural Economics, Ondokuz Mayıs University Department of Agricultural Economics and Ankara Commodity Exchange, was held on 12 June 2019 at Ankara Commodity Exchange.

Ondokuz Mayıs University Vice Rector and the project director Prof. Dr. Vedat CEYHAN, Head of TAGEM Soil and Water Resources Research Department Dr. Bulent SONMEZ, Ankara Provincial Deputy Principal of Agriculture and Forestry Veysel CETIN, Director of the Institute Dr. Ilhan SUBASI, Head of Polatli Commodity Exchange Yahya TOPLU, Head of Tekirdag Commodity Exchange Osman SARI and Agricultural Products Office (TMO) Product Technologies Laboratory Branch Manager Hidayet FODUL, especially cooperated with public institutions and organizations, non-governmental organizations, trade exchanges and banks attended. The opening speeches of the meeting were made by Eyup Senol OMEROGLU General Secretary of Ankara Commodity Exchange, Bulent SONMEZ and Prof. Dr. Vedat CEYHAN.

The final report of the project, where licensed warehouses operating in wheat and barley trade are handled with a holistic approach for all stakeholders in the sector, was presented by Sevinc KARABAK from the Agricultural Economics Department of our Institute. The meeting, which was moderated by Prof. Dr. Vedat CEYHAN, ended after the discussion section where the contributions and suggestions of the participants were received.
