As part of its ongoing industry engagement and applied research initiatives, a technical team from the Central Fisheries Research Institute (SUMAE) visited Polifish, one of Türkiye’s leading processors of Turkish salmon, located in the Arsin district of Trabzon.

During the visit, General Manager Tayfun Denizer provided detailed information about the company’s operations, including:
Turkish salmon production capacity
Processing line technologies
Hygiene and quality assurance protocols
Export market strategies
The SUMAE team also conducted an on-site inspection of the facility’s production, filleting, packaging, and cold chain logistics units.
