Under the coordinatorship of United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization-Subregional Office for Central Asia, the regional training program titled " Fish Genetics Resources-Practical Training on Molecular Methods" hosted by our institute and “Central Asian and Caucasus Regional Fisheries and Aquaculture Commission (CACFish)", is organized between 19-22 March.

The program of commission formed for the purpose of establishing a common mechanism for the sustainable use of fisheries resources among Central Asian and Caucasian countries and for sharing the country's experiences in aquaculture.

A total of 18 participants from Azerbaijan, Armania, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Russian Federation and Ukraine took part in the training.
