A TRAINING ON “GREEN PRUNING IN VITICULTURE” ORGANIZED IN GAZIANTEP

A training on "Green Pruning in Grapevines" was organized by the Şehitkamil District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. The training was given by Agricultural Engineer Kürşat Alp ASLAN (M.Sc) at Şehitkamil Chamber of Agriculture.

Green pruning in grapevines is carried out to increase the quality of product, reduce the longitudinal growth of the shoots, improve aeration and sunlight penetration, improve efficiency of pest control with cultural practices, and increase fruit set.
