A training on pistachio cultivation, irrigation, fertilization, pruning, disease and pest management was held in cooperation with Adıyaman Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and Pistachio Research Institute.
The meeting was moderated by Agricultural Engineer Ahmet UÇAR in the meeting hall of the Provincial Directorate. Provincial Director Nurettin KIYAS, Deputy Provincial Director Nihat YILMAZ, Crop Production and Plant Health Branch Manager Mustafa KAYGUSUZ, District Managers and staff, as well as many pistachio growers participated in the training.
The researchers from the institute Dr. Yasemin Bengü ŞAHAN and and Agricultural Engineer (M.Sc.) Mehmet UZUN gave information on pistachio cultivation, irrigation, fertilization, pruning, disease and pest management, then answered the questions from the producers.
