The introduction of the project "GAP ile Fıstık Gibi", which is supported by the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) Regional Development Administration, and the "Pistachio 2022 Panel" was held on 26.12.2022. Representatives of the GAP Regional Development Administration, technical personnel devoted to pistachio cultivation, private sector representatives, leading farmers, and Chambers of Agriculture came together. The panel started with the opening speeches made by Gaziantep Şahinbey District Governor Mr. Muharrem ÇİÇEK, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Agriculture Department Head Mr. Kenan SEÇKİN, Gaziantep Provincial Agriculture and Forest Directorate Engineer Nihat DEME and our institution Director Dr. Nevzat ASLAN. In the panel new developments in pistachio cultivation in the world, and the studies carried out in our institution were discussed.
