Since 2021, the pistachio yield estimation training has been conducted at our institution, and this year it was held online via Zoom on 03.07.2025. The training was given by our technical personnel, Agricultural Engineers Ümran KARAASLAN and Halil YİĞİT. Technical staff from the provinces of Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, Kahramanmaraş, Siirt, Kilis, and Batman as well as from agricultural chambers participated in the training, and field studies are ongoing in the relevant provinces. While production amount was 388,865 tons in 2024, a lower yield is expected this year due to both climatic conditions and the periodicity inherent in pistachio physiology.

The results will be evaluated based on the reports received from the provinces and will be finalized as the 2025 pistachio yield estimate.
