Fruit Research institute provided an education training in the project titled "Prevention of product losses in harvesting and packaging" organized by the KOP administration (Konya Plain Project Regional Development Administration)

Agricultral Engineer Msc.Atakan GÜNEYLİ participated in a 2-day series of trainings held in the province of Karaman as an educator within the framework of the "Prevention of product losses in harvesting and packaging" training program organized by the Konya Plain Project Regional Development Administration within the scope of the Agricultural Education and Extension Program.

In the first day of the trainings theoratical training was given to the sector group in the field where producers, workers, orchard owners and agricultural enginners who are  in the process of production in product losses during harvest and transportation and the prevention of these losses. Şimşek Agricultural Company, Örnek Agricultural Company, Engin Agricultural Company, ÜNSPED Agricultural Company operating under MHU Agriculture and Animal poetry and Ali Hacıhasanoğlu  company orchards were visited. On the second day, Engin Agricultural Company and Kırefe Agricultural Company visits and trainings were held in in packaging and cold storage facilities and their prevention., Apple producers Union officials, technical personnel and technical personnel of the Karaman Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry were given trainings on "Apple harvest criteria", "Apple post-harvest operations" and "Apple storage". in the Training and Meeting Hall of the Karaman Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry

Karaman Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Director Mr. Yusuf ŞAHİNBAŞ, Karaman Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry Plant Production and Plant Health Branch director Ömer KOKA, Konya Plain Project Regional Development Administration's Agricultural Education and Extension Program officials, producers, orchard owners, authorized engineers,  responsible persons and workers were  trained.
