Eğirdir Fruit Research Institute and Eğirdir Public Education Center Directorate cooperated with and organized Medical and Aromatic Plants courses in three modules between 03-17 February 2020. 59 trainees were registered to the course were trained by Senior Architect of Landscape Technical Architect Rafet SARIBAŞ who is an expert in the field of Medical and Aromatic Plants and Agricultural Engineer Engineers Bilal DEMİR, Hasan ASLANCAN and Erdinç GÜNAY. Conventional and organic oil rose, thyme, sage, basil, chamomile, lavender, cumin, nigella and saffron plant cultivation technics were teached in the course. In addition to the theoretical education, a trip to the institute's medical and aromatic plants laboratory and trial parcels of Güneykent village oil rose museum and Gülbirlik Company and Yakaören rose oil factory were also done in the course. After the exam, successful participants will receive their certificates at the end of the course.
