On the one hand, new grape varieties developed, on the other hand, the increasing sense of ownership in order not to lose our local varieties and the climate change that we feel with increasing intensity have made the importance of variety selection and promotion of these varieties important in new vineyard facilities.
In order to meet this need, our institute has completed the updating work of the "Standard Grape Varieties Catalogue", which was last published in 1990, after a meticulous and intensive period of about a year and is offering it to the use of producers, academicians, students and everyone who is devoted to grapes, and we hope it will be useful.
We would like to thank everyone who has worked, supported and contributed to the introduction of this valuable work to viticulture literature.
