AGRICULTURAL LANDS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN PROCESSED FOR TWO CONSECUTIVE YEARS WILL BE RENTED

Agricultural lands owned by real and legal persons and not cultivated for two consecutive years will be leased seasonally for agricultural purposes by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

The Regulation on Leasing Uncultivated Agricultural Lands for Agricultural Purposes prepared by the Ministry was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.

The Regulation covers the transactions and procedures regarding the seasonal lease of agricultural lands owned by real and legal persons and not cultivated for two consecutive years by the Ministry for agricultural purposes.

Agricultural lands that are not cultivated for two consecutive years will be leased seasonally by the Ministry, provided that the land's characteristics are not changed and that the lessor uses it for agricultural production.
