"ELECTRIC TRACTOR PROTOTYPES ARE READY FOR MASS PRODUCTION"
Having noted that the prototype of electric tractor manufactured by Turkey is ready; Mr. Bekir Pakdemirli, the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, has stated: "Our domestic and national tractor will run 8 hours a day with a charge for 7 Turkish Liras. Our prototypes are ready for mass production. It will be extremely economical. Our farmers will get rid of the problem of diesel."
Having passed from Salihli to Alaşehir as part of his Manisa program, Mr. Pakdemirli paid a visit to TARİŞ Raisin Association and then met with citizens in the Alaşehir Republic and Democracy Square.

Having drawn the attention to the importance of the harmony between the central government and local government, the Minister Pakdemirli has mentioned in his speech that they will establish an organized greenhouse region based on agriculture in Alaşehir and they will also build ponds and irrigation facilities in the region.
"Hopefully, once we start the mass production, we can give a test drive together in Alaşehir" the Minister Pakdemirli also said.
