Within the scope of the "Fıstığımız Bol Olsun" project carried out by the TEMA foundation (The Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion), a training on pruning in Pistachio was given with the cooperation of Pistachio Research Institute Directorate and Şahinbey Chamber of Agriculture. The training was held in the village called Belen, and the participants were the villagers from Belen and the surrounding villages.
The project coordinator Dr. Hüseyin TEKİN, the director of Pistachio Research Institute Dr. Nevzat ASLAN and Dr. Hatice GÖZEL shared their knowledge with the participants for five days beginning on February 21.
