Within the scope of the Academic Career (Doctorate) Project on Design
and Prototype Manufacturing of Safflower Harvesting Machine supported by TAGEM
carried out by our institute; safflower harvesting is carried out with the
effect of negative pressure (vacuum) without using any mechanical system or
chemicals in harvesting with the machine. A field type harvesting machine
working with a pneumatic system was made with the safflower harvesting machine
and it was determined that 73% of safflower harvesting is possible with this
machine. 40 times more time saving was achieved compared to human labor and 20
times more time saving was achieved compared to machines carried on backs. A
