"Women Farmers Meet with Agricultural Innovations Project" was done in accordance with the Education and Publication Department of Republic Of Turkey Ministry Of Agriculture And Forestry in accordance with the "Women Farmers Meet with Agricultural Innovations" Project, in cooperation with the Konya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Eğirdir Fruit Research Institute. Our institute gave teoric and practical education about "Spreading of Technical Blackberry Cultivation" to our female farmers in our Derbent district. It was given to 28 female farmers from the districts of Derbent, and the technical information and innovations were transferred to the female farmers. Blackberry seedlings were planted on a 2-decare farmland belonging to the Municipality of Derbent, and the drip irrigation system, wire pole system and modern blackberry orchard was demonstrated with applied trainings. In this way, it is aimed that our women make more conscious production and become individuals with high self-confidence. Female farmers who participated in the applied training program were presented with their certificates. Derbent District Governor Nurullah KAYA, Derbent Mayor Hüseyin AYTEN, Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Deputy Director İbrahim TÖKE, Coordination and Agricultural Data Branch Manager Haydar KURT, Derbent District Agriculture and Forestry Director Sina ZEKEY and Eğirdir Fruit Research Institute Researchers Agricultural Engineer Dr. Seçkin GARGIN and Zir. Load. Eng. Yadigâr KAŞIK participated in the program and a gift package prepared by the Konya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and blackberry seedlings were distributed to the participants.
