  1. Improving the efficiency and quality, culturing, increasing  resistance to disease, harmful and negative ecological conditions with reclamation and cultivation techniques in line with market demand  while perform these tasks, basic and applied researches carry out  by using new techniques and the technologies like biotechnology. ​
  2. To minimize the consumption of inputs in aquaculture by using mechanization and information technology and early warning systems and hunting, processing, evaluation technologies and their methods to improve. ​
  3. Basic and applied researches carry out  for seafood,  fish production and to improve the efficiency in  inland water of responsibility area ​
  4. Doing bio-ecological researches, collecting  data, assessing  and giving advise for monitoring and sustainable use of inland water resources​
  5. To ensure continuity reclamation material, new species developed as a result of the reclamation work. ​
  6. To determine fishery resources and create management plans for sustainable use in inland water of responsibility area.​
  7. To identify internal water fish and fishery genetic resources, protect and improve.​
  8. To develop fishing and processing / evaluation of technologies and methods and  to help the applicability.​
  9. To improve the conditions of aquaculture enterprises, to develope aquaculture system friendly with environmental and conducting research about the health of fish.​
  10. To make works about diagnosis of aquaculture disease, treatment, control and struggling works and to develop new methods.​
  11. To conduct researchs for determine the possible changes which will be consisted by climate change in the aquaculture production.​
  12. To monitor developments related to fisheries, to observe, report and provide detailed reports foresee preventive measures of potential crises to decision-makers ​
