Four new grape varieties developed as a result of the studies carried out by the breeding and genetics expert personnel working within the TAGEM Tekirdağ Viticulture Research Institute were registered.
Four new grape varieties registered in the National Variety List, three for wine (AKSIDAĞAN, ALÇO, GÜMÜŞ 59), and one for table (SAKLIKARA), will be offered to producers for their appreciation and use in the coming period.
As part of the new variety development activities carried out by the Tekirdağ Viticulture Research Institute, 23 new grape varieties have been registered so far and offered to the viticulture industry.
