Morphological Characters:
Main stem length is 24.6-61.8 cm. It grows semi-prostrate. Thousand seed weight is between 47.8 and 59.9 gram.
Agricultural Characters:
It’s winter-hardy and drought resistant. Flower color is pink. Number of days to flowering and physiological maturity are 157-239 days and 201-272 days, resceptively. Seeding rate varies from 8 to 10 kg da-1. As a forage, it is especially used for hay and silage. It’s possible to be grown alone and in mixtures with cereal grains (commonly barley). Its maturity time is earlier 7 days than white flower Hungarian vetch (an example, Tarm Beyazı-98).
Yield Characters:
Hay and seed yields are a wide range of variation as 52.5 and 846.8 kg da-1; 68.0 and 207.1 kg da-1, respectively. Averages of hay and seed yields are also 337.8 kg da-1 and 107.9 kg da-1, respectively.
Technological Characters:
Crude protein is 14.8% in hay content.
Disease and Pets Status:
It’s resistant to powdery mildew and leaf spot.
Recomended Area:
It’s grown as a winter crop for Central Anatolia Region and similar conditions.
