Within the scope of "Let No Farmer Be Left Where the Domestic and National Potato Seeds Cannot Reach" and General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies (TAGEM) 30th Anniversary Events, Potato Research Institute planted the institute's high yielding potato varieties for demonstration on the field day with the Yozgat Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.
Bogazlıyan District Governor, Recep AYDIN; Yozgat Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Director, Tanju OZKAYA; Bogazlıyan District Agriculture and Forestry Manager, Burhan KALE; Bogazlıyan Chamber of Agriculture President, Huseyin DEMIROGLU; County Managers, technical personnel, press members and several producers attended the field.
At the beginning of the program, the Institute Director, Ugur PIRLAK talked about the studies carried out by General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies and informed the participants about the R&D activities and the domestic and national potato varieties. In addition, Bogazlıyan District Governor, Yozgat Provincial Director and Bogazlıyan District Manager each gave speeches on the importance of local and national potato varieties. Afterwards, the demonstration area was visited with the participants, and examinations and evaluations were made. Mr. PIRLAK answered the questions from the producers. While the institute's potato varieties impress with their performances, the varieties also received great appreciation from the participants.
To the esteemed Yozgat Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Director, Tanju OZKAYA and the Provincial Directorate personnel, Bogazlıyan District Manager, Burhan KALE and the district directorate staff, Bogazlıyan Chamber of Agriculture President Huseyin DEMIROGLU and the valuable producer Oktay DEMIROGLU, who contributed to the field day.
