• In 1938 Our organization was founded as apple nursery with Turkish – German cooperation
• In 1957 chicken breeding and chick production programme was added
• In 1987 organization was transformed to potato production station
• In 1991 duck breeding and production programme was added
• In 1996 organization was transformed to potato production centre
• In 2011 organziation was connected to T.C. Republic of Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry as Potato Research Institute with Legislative changes and continues to potato programme as a research center
