Hosted by Turkey in both 2017 and 2022, APIMONDIA is taking place on September 23–27, 2025, in Copenhagen under the joint organization of the Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish beekeepers’ associations.
Why is it important?
As the most comprehensive beekeeping congress held every two years, APIMONDIA brings together beekeepers, scientists, and the industry at the same table. The main scientific themes of this year’s congress are bee welfare, high–quality assurance bee products, beekeeping under challenging conditions, and strengthening the research–practice bridge. These themes provide a common reference for standards, methods, and technologies that directly shape both field practices and the academic agenda.
As the Apiculture Research Institute, we will share the highlighted scientific outcomes, new methods and technologies, and sectoral trends from the congress with beekeepers in our country in the coming days.
