As the Apiculture Research Institute Directorate, we participated in the FLOTECH-HONEY: Flora, Technology and Honey – Next Generation Governance Workshop, which was held online on 1 October 2025. Within the scope of the workshop, our Director, Mr. Şeref CINBIRTOĞLU, shared with the participants the Institute’s ongoing apicultural R&D activities, field monitoring efforts, and sector-oriented technical support and collaboration initiatives.
The workshop represents one of the scientific outputs of the activities carried out within the framework of the BEE-OPTECH Project, in which our Institute acts as a coordinator/partner. The project is implemented in cooperation with Işık University under the Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST) – TÜBİTAK call. The partnership involves Işık University, Kadir Has University, the Apiculture Research Institute Directorate, and the Aegean Agricultural Research Institute from Türkiye, as well as the University of Malta from Malta.
